Walter Pearson was born in Herringswell on June 3rd 1901 (Mildenhall Q3-1901 4A:955), son of Stephen and Elizabeth Jane PEARSON (née GRIMWADE). 1911 census...Aged 9, he was living in Dalham with his father Stephen PEARSON, [35] gardener's labourer, born Dalham; his mother Elizabeth [35] born Hadleigh; sisters Alice [13] born Brandon and Lily [7] born Dalham, brother Frederick John [3] born Dalham and uncle Harry PEARSON [24] born Dalham. In 1925 he married Ellen Rose CORNELL (Newmarket Q4-1925 3B:1251). In the 1939 register his parents were at 42 The Sound, Dalham, father an agricultural foreman [25-3-1876], mother [15-2-1876] and brother Reginald [1-4-1912] a gardener. Walter and Ellen have not been identified but at probate Walter's address was Dalham, widow Ellen Rose. |
